Congratulations Nini and Yang! | Jules Ko Photography | Boston Harbor Odyssey

I don’t know Nini and Yang very well, but I wish I did.

They live in California, met through a gathering that Nini’s roommate was hosting, and their courtship started on the Santa Monica Beach.  Their DTR took place on a 4th of July Odyssey cruise on the west coast involving fireworks, and fittingly so, their married life began with fireworks on the Odyssey cruise on the 4th of July in Boston.  I know first hand what it’s like to plan a long distance wedding, but Nini and  Yang planned a 12+ hr day with fully blown Eastern and Western Ceremonies.

Nini and Yang had so many beautiful details, and such warm and loving interactions, I had a hard time narrowing down the images to post here.  And to appreciate them even further, their wedding party was recruited by the couple to keep guests from ‘getting in our way as we photograph.’  Gotta thank you for that thoughtful gesture!

The day began with the bride getting ready for a Bride’s family pick up/gift exchange/Chinese tea ceremony.
