Julius Ahn – Tenor | Boston

Allow me to introduce my friend Julius Ahn. We’ve been good friends since our days in Seattle, and around the same time, we both relocated to Boston to pursue our respective dreams and went through a few similar major life stages together. Julius recently completed his operatic studies at the New England Conservatory of Music, and I’ve had the pleasure of watching him perform throughout his musical journey and finding a better artist each time I attend. Dan and I recently watched Julius at the sold out performance of Viktor Ullmann’s The Emperor of Atlantis with Boston Lyric Opera, where Julius played the role of “soldier” who found love. Along with his smooth clear voice was his physical accomplishments of doing many one armed push-ups on stage as part of his character. Dan was quite impressed with both. 😉

Julius and I worked together for a new set of PR shots for his official website. And of course, I was delighted to capture the many sides of the tenor in Julius. Headshots can come in many forms of the profession, but artists definitely get to have more fun though.
