Verunka Vlkova – Soprano | Artistic Headshots at the Boston Public Library

I had the pleasure of being contacted by a Soprano on the verge of departing for her European Tour, but currently residing in NYC.  She had a tight timeline, but since she was a good friend of my good opera singer friend, Julius Ahn, we rolled the ball very quickly and I was very excited to meet her and deliver something unique for her needs.  Meet Verunka Vlkova, a power house Soprano and an beautiful soul.  Listening to her strong singing and looking at these pictures, you’d never guess she’s a very petite person.  I love doing artistic portrait sessions which are very different then a “headshot” in the set up and workflow, and it’s not everyday, I get to be part of something so theatrical.
