Brookline Center held a fundraiser gala at the wonderful Fenway Park’s EMC Club. The event was co-chaired by Terry & Jacque Francona to launch the Brookline Center Kid’s Fund which provides free and low-cost programs to the children and families of Brookline community.
The truth is when I first came across this opportunity, though I’d been to Fenway games and married a lifetime Boston Sox fan, I had no idea who Terry Francona was.
And I didn’t think too much of the location of the gala until I read the e-mail a 2nd time, and looked at Dan and said, “So… Fenway Park isn’t a park in the Fenway area, but THE ball park, huh?” He said, ‘Yup, that’s the only one’
I had the pleasure of working on all the PR images for the Brookline Center, and it was a treat to see the image come to live at the gala.

When I stepped into the club house, or in the the EMC club balcony and looked over the empty field for a moment where I was the only person visible, it was breathtaking.

Along with gathering of the current and new supporters and community partners, it was a full house at the EMC where over $200k was fund raised.
