Natalie and Nelson's Wedding | Boston

Natalie + Nelson=N2

Natalie and Nelson got married on a very hot and humid Boston day despite their Fall approaching wedding date.  The most unique feature about this couple was how playful they were, while being very professional.  As I noticed in their engagement session, and confirmed on the day of the wedding, there are very few images of Natalie-the bride not having fun and making faces here and there.  And sure enough, during their vows, Nelson affectionately called her, ‘My silly goose.’

Natalie and Nelson met 5 years ago through mutual friends, when Nelson mistakenly took Natalie’s brother as her date.  When I asked them about what their priority was for their wedding, they answered that they wanted their family and friends to have a good time.  And I won’t post the pictures here, but they sure did!  They were married in the same church Natalie’s parents were married in, the First Baptist Church of Boston.

Bride’s sister and maid-of-honor, Janice, made these wonferful paper flowers that decorated the aisles.

After the long receiving line was completed, Natalie skipped down the aisle.

The wedding portraits took place in the public gardens, with a ‘few’ eyes watching them.

Not everyone could pull this off so well…

or this!

After several games, toasting tables, and some dancing… bridesmaid, Erin caught the bouquet.  Then the groom’s party rigged to make sure Erin’s boyfriend Adam, would catch the garter toss.  A little while later, they were engaged, and their story will be told when I cover their wedding photography later this summer!  🙂

Congratulations N2
