Last Sunday, Dan and I picked our Christmas Tree! Last year, we got a beautiful tree but had very little fragrance, and withered very quickly. So this year, we wondered Mahoney’s sniffing various trees determined to let our noses do the picking and me filled with glee saying ‘treeeeeeee’ every few minuets.~
We found a smaller tree than the ones we got in the past years, but for some reason, it seemed just right! We kidded that it’s the recession, but at the end, it was the right size for our city dwelling and the amount of ornaments I’ve collected during my young adult years.
I also try to collect one sentimental ornament a year, like the Eiffle Tower from our trip to Paris last year,
and a Disney castle bell from this spring’s trip to Disney world.
To the grooms, I bet your new bride will love an ornament marking your first Christmas together like this…
